MacKenzie Marcelin (he/him) is the Regional Organizer for the Gulf South to Appalachia (GS2A). As a proud Florida Native, he has developed a close relationship with nature and experienced firsthand the climate disasters exacerbated by capitalism and exploitation. Growing up, he was acutely aware of how our current inequitable systems can and have devastated his communities, and he has dedicated his life to bringing forth solutions that create better systems for people and the planet. MacKenzie calls Fort Lauderdale home, where he enjoys being outside, preferably with music and a book in hand.
