Global CLIMATE FINANCE Convening

DUBLIN, IRELAND

aug 7 — 15, 2026

Taproot Earth designs and convenes spaces that bring together community leaders, practitioners, facilitators, legal professionals, and organizational partners for gatherings that support collaborative learning, relationship building, and program development. From August 7 to 15, 2026, Taproot Earth will convene the Global Climate Finance Convening in Dublin, Ireland.

This gathering will bring together frontline leaders, climate finance experts, and other stakeholders from across the world, including Ireland, to co-design the governance structure of a viable and sustainable alternative resourcing vehicle to the current global finance system.

THE Purpose of OUR Gathering:

The Global Climate Finance Convening is designed to support shared learning, collaborative planning, and relationship building among participants.

Rooted in Global Climate Reparations, participants will:

  • align on the vision, values, and guiding parameters of the Reef Fund ecosystem

  • establish clear governance structures and decision-making processes for the Reef Fund

  • identify potential partners and communities for assessing readiness for Reef Fund pilot projects
