Emma Collin (she/her) is a Senior Advisor at Taproot Earth. While studying evolutionary biology and ecology as an undergraduate, she grappled with what it means to live through a mass extinction event and entered the climate justice movement as a student organizer bringing young people into Southern freedom movements. Emma hails from New York and is grateful to call New Orleans home, where she enjoys gardening, playing music, and time along Lake Pontchartrain.
