If there’s one thing the Gulf South is going to do, it’s rise up. Our work is rooted in the community responses to Hurricane Katrina, the 2010 BP Oil Drilling Disaster, and Hurricane Ida. We honor and build on the efforts of Black and Indigenous communities by invoking accountability, abundance, and justice. Together, we’re forging connections that strengthen and sustain frontline climate leaders across the Gulf and Global South. We invite you to rise up and join us as we move toward liberation.
ce que nous envisageons
Taproot Earth envisage un monde où nous pouvons tous vivre, nous reposer et prospérer dans les endroits que nous aimons.
Some climate scientists and activists see 2030 as a point of no return. We see it as a turning point for choosing sustainability over scarcity, collective governance over authoritarianism, and stewardship over predatory extraction.
Nous nous déplaçons avec une « gravité reproductible », une force si puissante qu'elle peut modifier notre direction vers la libération.
Liberation HORIZON
We choose a horizon full of free people practicing hope, solidarity, mutuality, care, and compassion in the spaces and places we call home. We invite you to imagine and build this world with us.
